It is with great pleasure that I welcome you to Manor Court Community Primary School and Early Years Centre. At the heart of our school is a commitment to nurturing every child’s development—academically, socially and emotionally. We are proud to serve the south and west of Chard, offering a warm, inclusive environment for children aged 2 to 11.

As part of the Preston Primary Academy Trust, we share a clear vision of excellence, collaboration, and continuous improvement. Our dedicated staff work tirelessly to deliver a broad, engaging and creative curriculum that inspires curiosity and supports every child in achieving their full potential. Just as importantly, we promote the values of resilience, respect, kindness, and responsibility, ensuring that our pupils are well-prepared for life both in and beyond school.

At Manor Court Community Primary, we place a strong emphasis on attendance, recognising the direct link between regular attendance and pupil progress. We also work closely with families to ensure every child feels safe, supported and ready to learn. Safeguarding is central to our work, and we are committed to creating a caring, secure environment where children flourish.

Manor Court Community Primary is a busy, friendly school with a capacity for 420 pupils, but where each child is known, cared for, and supported. Our Early Years Centre provides the early stages of education for children between two and four. Our ambition is to provide a learning environment that combines challenge with care—encouraging children to aim high while ensuring they feel safe, happy, and motivated.
